Atlas takes you closer to your environment as you embark on one of the 12 custom-made Zodiacs made for World Voyager™, World Traveller™ and World Navigator ®. Cruising Arctic coasts, your knowledgeable experts guide you through the region’s many wonders. As your Zodiac driver navigates the waters, stop and listen to the natural sounds that surround you. At first, you might think it’s all silence, but if you focus, the cries of Arctic terns echo in the distance. You may encounter marine wildlife while out on the water, so focus on the soft but distinct rush of water and watch for the bubbles just before a breach. This is an essential excursion that truly gives you a pure feeling of triumphant exploration.

All Expedition Experiences operate if weather permits. Occupancy is limited. If you need to make a cancellation, you must do so no later than 72 hours before your sailing date.

Your expedition guide may lead you to dedicated points for the best views and instruct you on how to properly interact with wildlife at a safe distance so that you leave only footprints behind. Pique your curiosity with field interpretations on location.

Upon arrival by private airline charter, board a coach for your transfer through the town of Longyearbyen, the world’s northernmost settlement, before joining your fellow explorers aboard the yacht. This small Arctic town is inhabited by over 1,000 nature enthusiasts, researchers, and students from all over the world who live in close unity with the Arctic wilderness right at their front door. Upon boarding, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your expedition team and invited to an insightful talk about the way of life in Longyearbyen accompanied by local delicacies that may include reindeer canapés, coal mine beer and polar bear chocolates.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Greenland with an immersion into this village, opened exclusively for our expedition. You and your fellow explorers will be invited to connect with the people and customs on a personal level. Enjoy demonstrations of the traditional handicraft of paaruli while a local guide donning a traditional East Greenlandic suit welcomes you to take photos. As the community opens its doors to you, your explorations lead you to deeper bonds.the area.

Discover the history of the oldest form of transportation in the Arctic and learn what it takes to put together a successful sled dog team. Coming to Greenland almost 5,000 years ago, the relationship between these dogs and the country’s inhabitants has had a great influence on shaping their culture and society. As your host feeds their sled dogs and answers your questions, you and your fellow explorers will have an opportunity to take pictures with these beautiful animals.

The breathtaking views of wild mountains and fjords of the capital of Greenland are best viewed from above. Take off on an exciting flight over the stunning fjord system, coming to the city’s premier peak, Sermitsiaq. From the mountain’s plateau, you and your fellow explorers will have the opportunity to admire the view and take spectacular photos. Bask in the beauty of the landscape and take a moment to appreciate the experience with your new friends as you soar over magnificent scenes.

For the past 4,000 years, the Inuit have inhabited Tele Island, Sallinnguit, a place where past and modern cultures meet. Follow your local guide on an invigorating hike to ancient hunting grounds and submerged ruins alongside fellow explorers. It’s a spectacular journey through time as you make the invigorating trek through beautiful views of Greenland, where current structures live side by side with the remains of old buildings before the arrival of Europeans.

Join us on an unforgettable adventure as we embark on a journey toward the mesmerizing Qooroq Ice Fjord. Navigate through the tranquil waters, coming up close to the magnificent icebergs resting upon the moraine at the fjord's entrance. This awe-inspiring scenery promises countless opportunities to capture unique photographs, including the breathtaking blue ice found in abundance in South Greenland.
