Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
How does the Atlas Adventurer Early Access Priority Reservations work?
What is an Early Access Priority Reservation?
Early Access Priority Reservations provide guests with exclusive advance access to Atlas Adventurer’s inaugural season itineraries. This program allows you to be among the first to review full day-by-day itineraries and fares and to secure your preferred voyage and suite before opening reservations to the general public.
Does placing an Early Access Priority deposit confirm my reservation?
No. An Early Access Priority deposit does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
Your reservation is considered confirmed only after:
• Full itineraries and fares have been released (June 2026)
• You select your preferred voyage and suite
• A full deposit is made (less the Early Access Priority deposit already applied)
What is the Early Access Priority deposit amount?
• $2,000 per suite
• $5,000 for an Owner’s Suite
This deposit will be applied toward your full deposit once you proceed with a confirmed reservation.
Will I receive confirmation of my Early Access Priority deposit?
Yes. An invoice will be automatically issued once your Early Access Priority deposit has been applied.
When will full day-by-day itineraries and fares be released?
Full itineraries and fares are anticipated to be released in June 2026.
Will all inaugural itineraries be released at the same time?
Yes. Thirteen (13) inaugural season itineraries for sailings from November 2028 through March 2029 will be released simultaneously.
What happens if the itinerary release timeline changes?
Should the release timeline change, Atlas will continue to hold your Early Access Priority deposit and will keep you and/or your Travel Advisor informed until you advise otherwise.
When can I select my preferred suite?
Once itineraries and fares are released in June 2026, Early Access Priority guests will receive exclusive access to select their voyage and preferred suite, subject to availability, and will have until December 31, 2026 to complete their reservation with a full deposit.
Can I change my itinerary selection after itineraries are released?
Yes. Changes may be made prior to submitting a full deposit and selecting a suite.
Once a full deposit is applied and your suite is selected, the reservation is considered confirmed and standard Atlas change and cancellation policies will apply.
Can my Early Access Priority deposit be transferred?
• Before confirmation: Your Early Access Priority deposit may be transferred to another individual or applied to a different inaugural itinerary.
• After confirmation: Once a full deposit has been made and a suite selected, the reservation becomes non-transferable and standard policies apply.
If I decide not to proceed, will my deposit be refunded or converted to a future cruise credit?
Yes. If you choose not to move forward after itineraries and fares are released, you may request:
• A refund, or
• Conversion of the deposit to a future cruise credit to be applied to any Atlas Ocean Voyages itinerary.
Requests for either option must be submitted by December 31, 2026, by phone or in writing. If no action is taken by December 31, 2026, the deposit will be forfeited.
What happens if I take no action after itineraries are released?
Atlas will proactively contact you and/or your Travel Advisor to assist with next steps and help finalize your reservation, should you wish to proceed. If no action is taken by December 31, 2026, the deposit will be forfeited.
Is there a limit on the number of Early Access Priority deposits per household or booking?
No. There is no limit per household or booking.
Can groups take advantage of Early Access Priority deposit program?
Yes. Group reservations are welcome. An Early Access Priority deposit is required for each suite requested.
Will Atlas keep me informed as more details become available?
Yes. As part of the Early Access Priority Reservations program, you will receive advance notification of inaugural itineraries and fares before they are released to the general public, providing you the opportunity to secure your preferred voyage and suite.
Important Note:
Once full itineraries are released in June 2026 and a reservation is confirmed with a full deposit and suite selection, all standard Atlas change and cancellation policies will apply.

Visa-Exempt Travel Authorization Waivers
ETIAS for European Entry
The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is an electronic screening system for passport holders from countries with visa-free access to the European Union (EU) and Schengen Area. Beginning in late 2026, all travelers entering Europe without a visa will need an ETIAS authorization.
The ETIAS aims to enhance EU border security and is required for short-term stays (90 days or less). You must secure ETIAS approval before traveling to the EU. It is valid for three years, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first and is electronically linked to your passport.
Cost
The ETIAS application fee to enter the European Union (EU) and Schengen Area will be €20 per person (about $22 USD per person) for travelers between the ages of 18 and 70. Travelers under 18 and over 70 are exempt from the fee but will still need ETIAS approval.
Application Process
The ETIAS application can be completed online or through a mobile app. Applicants will need to provide personal biometric data, scan their passport, take a photograph, and answer a questionnaire related to security and travel history.
Validity
An approved ETIAS will allow multiple trips to the EU for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. It will be valid for three years or until the traveler’s passport expires, whichever comes first.
Exemptions
ETIAS is not required for EU citizens, individuals with residency permits or visas, and those traveling to the EU for purposes that fall outside of the 90-day short-stay category.
Entry Travel Authorization for United Kingdom Entry
The ETA is required for all European and Non-European nationalities.
Cost
The ETA will cost £17 GBP and will be valid for two years or until the traveler’s passport expires, whichever is sooner.
Application process
The application can be made online or on a mobile device using the UK ETA app. Applicants will need to scan their passport, take a photograph of themselves, and complete a questionnaire. You will find the app download link and additional information here.
Validity
The ETA will permit multiple trips to the UK for stays of up to six months at a time.
Exemptions
British and Irish citizens, those with permission to live, work, or study in the UK, and those with a visa to enter the UK are not required to apply for an ETA.
South Georgia Islands Entry Travel Authorization (ETA)
All guests visiting South Georgia Islands are required to obtain an Entry Travel Authorization (ETA). Each guest must apply individually using the official application link: https://eta.entry.gov.gs
Applications must be submitted at least 14 days prior to arrival in South Georgia. The visitor permit is valid for 30 days. When submitting your application, please use the embarkation and debarkation dates instead of the planned landing dates in South Georgia. The itinerary may change due to weather conditions, so your permit should cover the entire duration of your time on board the yacht. Guests without a valid ETA will not be permitted to go ashore or participate in Zodiac landings during this portion of the expedition.
The ETA will cost approximately $270 USD (£200 GBP).
Visa Requirement for Brazil entry for citizens of the United States, Canada, and Australia
For guests traveling on Pre- or Post-Expedition land program to Iguazu Falls.
A Tourist Visa will be required and can be obtained either electronically or as a physical stamp in your passport through Brazilian consulates. Entry visa is valid for 10 years and for multiple entries.
- Please contact CIBT Visas, for detailed visa requirements, forms, and fees.

Mobile & Accessibility
Is a Polar expedition possible for disabled travelers?
While we aim to make our voyages inclusive for all guests, Polar destinations present challenging elements. Our Polar journeys also use Zodiacs to transport guests between shore and yacht, so if you have a disability that does not easily allow for such transportation, we cannot serve you well for a Polar expedition at this time.
Please note that that the accessibility options on and off the ship require walking up and down stairs in most ports of call. Sometimes, these can be steep inclines. Guests must be able to navigate the stairs with limited assistance. Additionally, please note that not all shore excursions are suitable for guests with impaired mobility. Situations may occur in which guests with limited mobility are unable to go ashore at the time they desire or at all in certain ports of call. While we aim to make our voyages inclusive for all guests, Polar Expeditions in the Arctic, or Antarctica present challenging elements. In select ports, and in limited disembarkation and embarkation ports, we use Zodiacs to transport guests between shore and yacht; therefore, we cannot transport wheelchairs with guests.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accommodate motorized/electric wheelchairs or motorized/electric scooters onboard. However, we welcome any guest bringing their own collapsible manual wheelchair.
Contact our Voyage Specialists team should you have any questions concerning the above.
Will your yachts have accessible accommodations?
Yes, our yachts offer two (2) accessible suites with 90-centimeter doorways, thoughtfully designed to better accommodate guests with disabilities. Please note these suites have limited closet space. Refer to the deck plans for their locations.
Are Electric/Motorized Scooters or Wheelchairs accepted onboard?
No, we are unable to accommodate electric scooters or wheelchairs. We only accept collapsible wheelchairs onboard the yacht.
