SAFETY
FOR ALL
KEEP EXPLORERS &
THE ENVIRONMENT SAFE
While journeying through the Arctic and Norwegian Fjords is an exciting endeavor, it’s important to keep you and your fellow explorers’ safety in mind, as well as the safety of the wildlife. Consider these tips to practice conscious travel and make memories while remaining secure.
PURPOSE-BUILT YACHTS
When traveling to regions where there is a possibility of extreme conditions, such as weather, ice and natural phenomena, your safety is our top priority. That’s why our yachts are purpose-built as Polar Category C and Ice Class 1B and perfectly engineered for safely navigating beyond the Arctic Circle.

FOLLOW THE LEADER
When traveling through the Arctic, your Expedition Guide and team will share the best and safest ways to interact with and experience your destination’s environment.
EXCURSION SAFETY
For Zodiac safaris and expedition landings, your expedition leader guides your adventures through the Arctic waters to ensure a safe and fun experience. Expedition team members help guide you through your immersive experiences and instruct you on proper interactions with the wildlife and environment.

KEEPING THE WILDLIFE SAFE
Please remember, we want to do our best to keep the wildlife safe as well. Make sure to maintain a safe distance of at least 15 feet at all times. We don’t want to scare the animals away, so make sure to keep noise to a minimum and never touch or feed them. The best way to ensure we maintain the balance of this fragile ecosystem is by leaving very few footprints behind. Enjoy the full Arctic experience by admiring and appreciating all it has to offer and minimizing disturbances in the environment.
