Nov 05    Balboa, Panama    Depart: 4:00PM
Balboa, Panama

The namesake capital city of Panama has one of the most unique geographies of any country in the world. Formed by shifting tectonic plates millions of years ago, land deposits pushed together to form a bridge between North America and South America. Panama is synonymous with its great Canal. The century-old Panama Canal continues to amaze and inspire. Another wonderful attraction of Panama City is the Casco Viejo. The terracotta roofs, café-bars, and bell towers of the old quarter huddle over the sea in the city’s south. Balboa serves as the Pacific Ocean terminal port in central Panama, at the southern end of the Panama Canal.
